Looking for new ruggedized point-and-shoot? Nikon has recently official introduced a pair of weatherproof compact cameras, the Nikon Coolpix AW110 and AW110s. Both cameras are designed for use in outdoors and all types’ situations to capture amazing moments. 
Nikon Coolpix AW110 / AW110s are successors to the Coolpix AW100 and AW100s, which is its first waterproof, tough, and cold-proof point-and-shoot. New cameras are capable to shoot in 18 meters underwater, shock-proofing (withstand drops from up to 2m), and cold-proofing to minus 10 degree Celsius.
The AW110 and AW110s ruggedized cameras are sport 1/2.3-inch 16-megapixel BSI CMOS sensor and 5x optical zoom NIKKOR lens (wide-angle 28 mm to 140 mm). There is a 3-inch OLED display, a SD / SDHC / SDXC memory card slot, Wi-Fi, and GPS.
Nikon Coolpix AW110s / AW110 rugged point-and-shoots are bring a lens-shift vibration reduction (VR) function, which offers beautiful rendering even camera shake. In additional, it has sensitivity range of ISO 125-1600. Weighing about 190 grams, dimensions of this Nikon camera are 110 x 65 x 25 mm.
To be very fashionable for everyday use, the camera will become available starting next month in five color options: blue, black, orange, silver, and a fashionable camouflage pattern.
The price of Nikon Coolpix AW110 will be around $350.
