Nikon has expanded its stylish digital camera, the Nikon Coolpix S6100. The new compact camera has a 16-megapixel image sensor and offers poster-sized enlargements.

Nikon Coolpix S6100 is pack a wide-angle NIKKOR lens with a 7x optical zoom (28-196 mm in 35mm format) and a 3-inch (460k dot) touchscreen display.

The Nikon Coolpix S6100 digital camera is equipped with optical image stabilization, Best Shot Selector (BSS) function, Scene Auto Selector, and four different anti-blur functions. It is supports 720p HD video recording (1280 x 720 pixels).

Nikon Coolpix S6100 camera has also SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot, 20MB of internal memory, 4x digital zoom, A/V port, and USB port. Dimensions of Nikon Coolpix S6100 are 98 x 58 x 27 mm.

The Nikon Coolpix S6100 will go on sale next month for expected price of $200. It is comes in five color options – violet, black, red, pink and silver.
