Nikon D300s and D60 sequel, prepares announcements
It seems that the Nikon is preparing to submit as soon as possible once the two new SLR cameras. German resource Kamera & Bild, writing about the photographs, announced that Japanese company plans to soon hold two press conferences to be held on 30 July and 4 August. At one of these press conferences will be announced successor to the alleged current D60 entry-level camera, the latter given by the presentation of the new mirror camera average D300s, which we already reported in the news.
Additional details and characteristics of the new cameras have not yet been given. The function of D300s will better update Nikon DSLR camera with a matrix, lifting at the time frame D300. This updated model can be a function of shooting video with HD quality 720p, an improved system of D-Lighting, as well as the ability to connect an external microphone and a second slot for a SDHC memory card.
Regarding a possible replacement for the model of D60, this announcement is quite unusual, since Nikon has just recently introduced a new entry-level Nikon D5000 SLR. The new camera (unless, of course, it does exist) is probably planned for the role of rival Canon EOS 1000D. In it for the price reduction may be deleted some key features, in particular, shooting high definition video and a large number of autofocus points.
