Nikon D4 dSLR camera and NIKKOR 85mm Prime lens [video]
Nikon has introduced its new flagship digital SLR camera, the Nikon D4. This camera will be arriving in February and expected price of $5999.95. New Nikon D4 DSLR camera will replaces the previous models, the Nikon D3, D3X and D3s.
The D4 DSLR camera is comes with a multitude of new functions and features including Advanced Multi-Cam 3500 AF auto-focus system, Advanced Scene Recognition System, HDR (High Dynamic Range) to produce a single image from combines images to ensure a wider dynamic range. New Nikon D4 also has two AF buttons (for capture in portrait mode), Ethernet port, and all buttons in backlit.
The Nikon DSLR camera sports a 16.2MP FX-Format Full Frame CMOS image sensor paired with new Nikon EXPEED 3 image processor. Feature on Nikon D4 camera is sensitive range from 100 to 204,800 ISO, up to 11fps continuous shooting (FX format), 51-point AF System, and capable to Full HD 1080p video recording at 30/24fps (H.264 / MPEG-4 AVC format).
Like other DSLRs, Nikon D4 is equipped with HDMI output, 3.2-inch LCD screen, CompactFlash memory card slot (UDMA compliant), and new XQD memory card support.
Dimensions of Nikon D4 are 160 x 156.5 x 90.5 mm (W x H x D) and weighs 1,180 grams (camera body only).
Besides digital SLR camera, Nikon has announced a new lens that called the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 85mm f/1.8G Prime. According to manufacture, this lens is perfectly for video use, which is comes with a new ‘whisper quiet’ AF motor. The Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 85mm f/1.8G Prime lens will be available in March 2012 for price of $499.95.
