Nikon launches Nikon D5000, Not rumors

The rumor that I know I left a few days ago through the official channel on Twitter proved to be true, and Nikon has just announced a new DSLR camera with video recording capability at 720p, and with the excellent sensor of the Nikon D90, and have named the Nikon D5000.

The basic specifications of this wonderful low-cost are as follows:

- CMOS DX Sensor 12.3 Megapixels
- Live View (Live View)
- Video at 720p (1280 x 720) at 24fps
- Screen Rotating 2.7″
- ISO 200 to 3200 (expandable to 6400)
- Supports external drive GP-1 GPS
- U.S. $ 730 (without lens)
- U.S. $ 850 with 18-55mm VR lens

We can describe this camera as a model between the D60 and D90, but with some improvements (such as rotating the screen and 19 scene modes), which we expect to see in the successor to the D90 in the future.
