Nintendo Wii MotionPlus: priced and dated

Nintendo Europe has officially announced that Wii MotionPlus, the increase peripheral sensitivity to the Wiimote, will be available on our continent, June 12, 2009 (date of launch of Grand Slam Tennis), and earlier in America, 8 days June.

Therefore be pursued over a month to Wii Sports Resort, the first game to use Nintendo, which will go on sale July 24 in Europe, 26 in America and Japan in June. Before, users can exploit its peripherals with three other games: Virtual Tennis 2009 (SEGA), Grand Slam Tennis (EA Sports) and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 (EA Sports).

“Anyone who has played Wii recalled the time that first discovered the intuitive control of the game and realized that this was a new way to experience video games,” says Laurent Fischer, Director of Marketing & Public Nintendo Europe. “Wii MotionPlus re-create that feeling, bringing the gaming experience to a new level of realism.”

There has been no price to Europe, but for America. Wii MotionPlus, alone, will have a suggested retail price of $ 19.99, while Wii Sports Resort will come with peripherals including for $ 49.99.
