Nokia E6 and X7 Smartphone start shipping with Symbian Anna

Nokia has announced availability two new Symbian-based smartphones, the Nokia E6 and the Nokia X7. Both handsets are now shipping and its first smartphones to run Symbian Anna.

The Nokia E6 smartphone is a candybar form factor with a 2.46-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and a full QWERTY keyboard. New E6 Anna-based handset has brings a 8MP full focus camera with 720p video recording and dual-LED flash, HSPA, GPS, 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi, 8GB of internal memory, Bluetooth 3.0, free navigation, and a removable 1500mAH battery (Nokia BP-4L). Dimensions of Nokia E6 are 115.5 x 59 x 10.5mm and weighs 133g.

Nokia X7 smartphone packs a 4-inch capacitive AMOLED display with a resolution of 640 x 360 pixels, a 8-megapixel full focus camera with dual LED flash and 720p video recording, up to 350MB built-in operating memory, a MicroSD card slot (up to 32GB), and a 1200mAH battery.

There are 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, 3.5mm audio connector, and support for Pentaband 2G/3G network connectivity. The Nokia X7 measures 119.7 x 62.8 x 11.9 mm with weighs 146g.

Nokia E6 smartphone is selling for about €400 and should be arrive in Europe, Eurasia, Asia/Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa.

New Nokia X7 will available in Europe, Eurasia, China, India and other Asia/Pacific countries. It could be about €30 – €40 more expensive than the Nokia E6.
