Nokia has shipped as many as 3.5 – 4 million Nokia N8 units around the world since last three months ago (launch, early October 2010). According to Inderes Oy, the Finland-based research company, the Nokia N8 smartphone is the most popular model in the UAE, India, Finland and Malaysia.

Nokia is never saying how many units N8 sold but has announced the Nokia N8 has received the highest amount of consumer pre-orders. For comparison, iPhone 4 has sold out in 14 million units in Q3 2010.

Nokia N8 smartphone is its first Symbian^3 device and has brings a 3.5-inch OLED capacitive touchscreen display with resolution of 640×360 pixel, a 12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens, xenon flash, 20x digital zoom, 720p HD video recording. The Nokia N8 has also features GPS, HDMI output, FM radio, a 3.5 mm audio jack, an accelerometer, USB port, Bluetooth 2.1, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, and a 1200mAh battery.
