Nokia N900 shipments now

Nokia announced sales of the Nokia’s latest mobile computer based on open source Maemo 5 software, Nokia N900, which was submitted in late August.

As soon, Nokia N900 will be available in Russia, Europe, Middle East and North America. In some regions of the Nokia N900 can be purchased now. In addition, the Nokia N900 can be ordered from the online shop, Nokia Online Store.

Nokia N900 is based on open source Maemo 5 software, it is equipped with a sliding QWERTY keyboard, 3.5-inch touchscreen TFT display with a resolution 480×800 pixel, 32GB internal memory, slot for microSD with up to 48GB, GPS, Wi-Fi, etc. The Nokia N900 is powered by a powerful 600MHz ARM Cortex-A8 processor and up to 1GB of total application memory.

The Nokia N900 phone supports networks GSM/GPRS/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and UMTS/HSPA. Price of Nokia N900 in Europe is EUR 500, excluding sales taxes and subsidies.
