There has appeared some details about the new Nokia N97 Mini smartphone, now it being prepared for publication. We already wrote about it in the news, the Nokia N97 Mini smartphone is a simpler version of the flagship Nokia N97 in the same form factor, but slightly smaller. Screen size is slightly smaller, it is also missing the navigation key, the phone became shorter and narrower, while QWERTY keyboard is stored. According to new data, the internal memory of the Nokia N97 Mini is smaller than the flagship smartphone, probably 8GB or 16GB. In addition, the built-in camera of Nokia N97 Mini is unknown.

Also reported that the Nokia N97 Mini phone is practically the same as the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic. In this case, the Nokia N97 Mini phone has a 2.9-inch, touchscreen, with a resolution of 640×360 pixels, 16m colors, and support for automatic brightness. With regard to the basic functions of a mini-version of Nokia N97, they will be the same as in older models. But the cost will differ quite significantly: novelty will be 100 euros cheaper then it’s bigger brother. It was expected that an official announcement of Nokia N97 Mini will be held at the Nokia World 2009 in Stuttgart, 2-3 September.
