Nokia N98 in 12-megapixel camera

PhoneReport’s sources in the Carl Zeiss and Nokia reported that Nokia is now working on a new flagship N98 camera phone. It will be equipped with built-in 12 MP camera and Carl Zeiss lens with feature optical zoom. According to the source, the 12 MP Nokia camera-phones will provide more high quality photos than competing mobile devices with the camera of the same class. This will come at the expense of new technology, which is now in testing: the number-megapixel sensor will increase to 12, and pixel size will remain the same as the 8 MP camera Nokia N86 camera phone. While the machines of other companies with 12 MP camera, equipped with sensors with smaller pixels. That is, formally 12 MP camera but the resulting image quality only slightly better than the 8 MP camera phones.
The new flagship Smartphone, Nokia N98 will be presented in late 2009 or early 2010.
