Notion Ink Tegra Android smartpad with Pixel Qi
Notion Ink will be show at Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2010 the unnamed Android “smartpad” internet tablet.
As noted, the Notion Ink internet tablet will be the first gadget, which is used use the Pixel Qi transflective display. It is able to operate in three modes: color, black and white and as electronic paper. Switching between modes can achieve optimal balance between image quality, ease of reading information from the display and consumption of energy. Thus, it is claimed battery life up to 8 hours of high-definition video playback and 16 hours of internet surfing over WiFi.
Notion Ink “smartpad” internet tablet is powered by laid NVIDIA Tegra T20 chipset and Google Android operating system. The screen is a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with supports resolutions 1024×600 pixel and has a special coating that prevents the appearance of fingerprints and scratches. The Notion Ink “smartpad” internet tablet has a 3.0 megapixel camera with autofocus, GPS receiver with A-GPS, digital compass, accelerometer and proximity, ambient light and water sensors.
Notion Ink internet tablet has extensive wireless capability, which can operate in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, as well as mobile networks UMTS/HSDPA. Notion Ink Android “smartpad” internet tablet has brings a USB port and a HDMI port, a 16GB or 32GB solid state drive (SSD). Dimensions of Notion Ink internet tablet are 250x160x15 mm and weight is 770g.
