I-O Data, better famous computer peripheral maker, has recently introduced a new business-conscious network attached storage server, the I-O Data HDL-Z6WL6C2. This NAS device comes with Windows Storage Server 2012 R2 Standard 64-bit OS that adds a number of advanced features.
The business NAS server is support for RAID (0,5) configuration, load balancing and limit use of the storage. Apart from six drive bays (each 3.5-inch SATA HDD), new I-O Data HDL-Z6WL6C2 has a total of 6TB / 12TB / 18TB / 24TB capacity. This storage server rocks a 2.13GHz Intel Atom dual-core processor, and 4GB DDR3 RAM. In connectivity term, there are five USB 2.0 ports, two USB 3.0 ports, two eSATA ports, and two Ethernet LAN ports.
Dimensions of I-O Data HDL-Z6WL6C2 are 260 x 235 x 180 mm and weighs 9.6kg. In Japan, the I-O Data HDL-Z6WL6C2 business NAS Server will go retail on the late February and asking price of 320,000 Yen, which is equivalent about $3,151 US.
