O2 Xda Venn, dual slider phone with keypad and QWERTY

July 19th, 2009 Filed under Mobile Phones

O2 operator in the UK introduced an Xda Venn Smartphone. This model is in a rather rare dual-slider form factor: the bottom has made numeric keypad, with one side is QWERTY. O2 Xda Venn entered into the body with rounded corners, almost oval. In fact, the Smartphone is a modification of Pantech Matrix Pro, which previously had been released from AT&T U.S. operator. It should be noted that due to form factor, the unit turned out quite cumbersome: its thickness is 21mm.

O2 Xda Venn operates cellular networks in the second and third generation. This Smartphone is based on Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard operating system. It is equipped with 2.4-inch QVGA display, 2MP camera, GPS receiver, as well as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless adapters. The cost of O2 Xda Venn has not yet been reported.
