OCZ 17-inch DIY gaming notebook, Do-It-Yourself [Computex 2009]

OCZ Technology introduced at Computex the 17-inch DIY (Do-It-Yourself) gaming laptop, which the user can supply their own components. The decision of the OCZ is in fact, one of the few on the market, which comes without a certain manufacturer of precise parameters of the processor, hard drive and RAM. Notebook supports Intel Core 2 Duo / Core 2 Extreme, Memory DDR3, you can also install one or two 2.5-inch hard disk drive and DVD or Blu-Ray. In addition, supported by NVIDIA Hybrid GeForce 9600GTS graphics card, and has features the display of pixels 1366×768, so it can play high definition video (HD).

“DIY” Notebook from OCZ also has a full set of connectors, the standard for solutions in this class, including ExpressCard slot. Also there is a large 8-cell battery, the weight of a laptop is 3.78 kg. Users are able to complete this laptop according to your needs and capabilities, and thereafter, if necessary, to upgrade the system. However, it is not yet clear when the release device on the market, and how much it will cost.
