OCZ Summit SSD, 2.5″ drive for professionals
OCZ Technology has expanded its line of 2.5-inch SSD storage devices, the new Summit. They are intended for professionals and computer enthusiasts, higher demands on the reliability of information storage, but it can also be used as an entry-level corporate decisions.
OCZ Summit SSD is made of high quality NAND chip memory and used to work significantly less power than traditional hard drive. Power consumption of this SSD is 2 watts in operation mode and 0.5 watts in standby mode. The rate of Seek Time is less than 1 ms. In addition, they concluded in the stylish aluminum case and equipped with 128 MB cache memory, which increases the reliability of information storage.
OCZ Summit SSD drives have supported in RAID mode and it is available in versions with 64, 128 and 256 GB of memory. In this case, their speed of reading the same for all versions, and comes up to 220 MB/s and a maximum recording speed is different for different models, ranging from 125 to 200 MB/s. Indicator of impact of these flash drives is 1500 G, while the average time trouble reaches 1.5 million hours.
The size of OCZ Summit SSD is 99.8 x 69.63 x 9.3 mm, they weigh is 77 grams. Each SSD is equipped with a two-year warranty from the manufacturer.
