OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPS edition SSD gets 75,000 IOPS
OCZ Technology Group today officially announced a tweaked version of its Vertex 3 SSD, namely the OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPS edition. The new solid state drive is a 2.5-inch form factor and 4KB random write performance up to 75,000 IOPS (instead the ‘regular’ Vertex 3 with 60,000 IOPS).
OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPS edition SSD is available in two capacity storages – 120GB and 240GB. It has features TRIM support, SATA 3.0, which provides up to 6 Gbps, read and write speed of up to 550 MB/s and 500 MB/s.
Dimensions of Vertex 3 Max IOPS edition drive are 99.8 x 69.6 x 9.3 mm and weight 77 grams. The OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPS edition is currently available for pre-order at price of $296.99 (120GB) and $556.99 (240GB).
