OCZ Vertex Turbo 2.5-inch SSD, officially announces

OCZ officially introduced a new Vertex family SSD. The new line is named Vertex Turbo Edition and includes a 2.5-inch SSD with an Indilinx controller and 64MB of DRAM memory clocked at 180 MHz. This configuration allows you to increase the reliability of a flash drive, and increase their productivity.

Vertex Turbo Edition SSD is connected to a computer for high-speed SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, and it is available in versions with a capacity of 32GB, 64GB, 128GB, and 256 GB. In doing so, the maximum speed of read and write data is 270 MB/s and 210 MB/s (for 128GB and 256GB version) and 240 MB/s and 145 MB/s (for 32GB and 64GB version).

The size of Vertex Turbo Edition solid state drives is 99.8 x 69.63 x 9.3 mm and weigh is 77 grams. This device has a MTBF (mean time before failure) in the 1.5 million hours and has a three-year warranty. Their appearance in the sale is expected shortly.
