The glorious history of the Olive Telecommunication company is began in 2006 when they are formed a joint venture in India with the participation of the Chinese Corporation, Haier Group. The year 2009 was marked by the fact that Olive Telecommunication preparing India consumers an unprecedented gift, the first netbook with support for 3G. It is namely Zipbooks.
Olive Zipbooks Netbook appear in two versions with support for EV-DO (uses Tata Teleservices network) or HSPA (BSNL Network). Olive Zipbooks Netbook is presented in four colors. Technical specifications of Olive Zipbooks Netbook are an Intel Atom N270 CPU, a 1GB DDR2 memory, and a 160GB hard drive.
Olive Zipbooks Netbook will deliver with preinstalled Windows 7 OS. The Olive Zipbooks Netbook has estimated priced at less than 23,000 INR (about $491) and includes with a 3.5G modem.
Olive Company also told about the upcoming release of seven new mobile phones: two touchscreen phones (Olivepwrr and Olivetouch), two dual SIM cards phones (V-G400 and V-G500), two candybar phones (Olivecompacta and Oliveglide), as well as a QWERTY phone (Olivemsgr).
In 2010, the Olive is going to release Android phone, as well as it operates on the basis of an AAA battery-powered.
