Olympus E-450 Camera: Specification, light and compact SLR
Olympus has announced release of digital SLR Olympus E-450 camera, a modernized version of the model E-420. The new camera is very similar to the previous model except for the addition of three artistic filters, a new processor and the improved liquid crystal display. The camera is positioned as one of the most compact and light.
Specifications of Olympus E-450;
- Sensor: 4/3″ MOS sensor, 11.8 million pixels (10MP)
- 2.7-inch display with a viewing angle 176°, with a resolution of 230 000 points
- Mode of sight to the display Live View
- 28 shooting modes (5 modes exposure, 5 creative modes, 18 plot programs)
- Built-in flash: a leading number – 12 (ISO 100)
- Serial mode: 3.5 fps, 8 images in RAW format to fill the buffer
- Photosensitivity : 100-1600 ISO
- Two slots memory cards for CompactFlash and xD-Picture Card
- Removing Dust: The ultrasonic wave filter
The camera will be available in the following versions;
- Olympus E-450 “body”
- Olympus E-450 “kit” (E-450 “body” lens ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 14-42mm 1:3.5-5.6)
- Olympus E-450 dual “kit” (E-450 “body” ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 14-42mm 1:3.5-5.6 and ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 40-150mm 1:4.0-5.6)

According to the manufacturer, the camera should take a position in the line of digital Olympus between E-420 and E-520. In broad selling E-450 will be in July at a price of 700 dollars.
