Olympus E-5 Weather-Proof digital SLR camera
No waiting for Photokina 2010 (21-26 September, Cologne, Germany), Olympus has just announced the launch of new flagship E-Series digital SLR camera lineup, called the Olympus E-5.
The camera will be replacing the Olympus E-3. The new Olympus E-5 is made in a durable magnesium alloy body, dust/splash-proof construction. It is aimed at professional and serious amateur users.
The Olympus E-5 camera is use 12.3 Megapixels High-Speed Live MOS sensor and TruePic V image processor. It is provides optical image stabilization and high-power Dust Reduction System.
Olympus E-5 dSLR camera is sports a 3-inch VGA HyperCrystal LCD screen (640×480 pixel) with dual-axis swiveling system and more flexible Live View, optical viewfinder with 100 percent coverage, slot for CompactFlash and Secure Digital memory card, and HDMI output.
The Olympus E-5 camera is capable of recording 720p high-definition video with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels at 30 frames per second, capture images in 5FPS burst speed, and 11-point autofocus.
New Olympus E-5 will be available Late October 2010 for priced at $1,700.
