Olympus E-P2 Micro Four Thirds camera

Olympus China’s website is appears a description of a new compact digital camera, E-P2, which is expected to be less expensive version of the Olympus E-P1, it was released in the last summer.

It is like the original model, new Olympus E-P2 is made in an unusual retro design, corresponds to the Micro Four Thirds standard (MFT). It can compared with conventional digital SLR cameras (DSLR), MFT cameras does not have an optical viewfinder and a mirror. Distance from the lens mount to sensor is 20 mm instead of 40 mm in SLR cameras. This is makes it possible significant reduction in device dimensions while maintaining the quality of images inherent DSLR machines.
