Olympus has expanded its line of FE compact cameras, which includes the budget decisions, announced four new models, new FE-5020, FE-4000, FE-46, and FE-26 Cameras. All cameras has equipped with the same resolution of 12 megapixel and 2.7-inch LCD screen, and supports xD-Picture Card and microSD memory card .

There is also an auto-focus on moving objects and intelligent Auto mode, automatically adjusts the camera settings, depending on the shooting conditions. In addition, the configuration FE-5020 and FE-4000 includes a collection of “Magic Filters”, to handle the image directly into the camera.

In fact, the only significant difference of the new Olympus cameras from each other (except for the design and some features) is the characteristics of their lenses. For example, a model of FE-5020 is equipped with 24 mm lens with a 5x optical zoom, while the FE-4000 wide-angle lens has the equivalent of 26 mm and 4x optical zoom. With respect to the FE-26 camera, it has a standard lens with a 3x optical zoom. Olympus FE-5020, FE-4000, FE-46, and FE-26 Compact Camera will be available in August 2009, their cost has not yet been specified.
