Olympus MEG4.0 wearable display for glasses

Olympus has officially announced a new wearable display prototype, the Olympus MEG4.0. New device is an alternative augmented reality small display that fitted on most glasses. The Olympus MEG4.0 can display at resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, and most interesting, it is readable even in bright sunlight.

New MEG4.0 wearable display is using Bluetooth wireless connectivity to communicate with your smartphone or tablet. In additional, it is built-in accelerometer and brightness ratio of 10 cd/m2 to 2,000 cd/m2.

Weighs 30grams, its rechargeable battery is enough juice the Olympus MEG4.0 wearable display up to 8 hours of use or 15s charge for 3 minutes of runtime.

There is no word on pricing or release date yet.
