Olympus VG-160 colorful budget-friendly slim camera
Olympus is going prepare to launch its new point-and-shoot camera, the Olympus VG-160. This budget-friendly camera is delivers simplicity and quality at a low price. Coming in four color options (silver, black, red and orange), the VG-160 digital compact camera will be available in February 2012 and expected price of just $99.99 (bundled with a camera strap).
The Olympus VG-160 camera has 14MP 1/2.3-inch CCD sensor, 5x optical zoom lens (26mm wide angle), and 4x digital zoom. New Olympus budget camera packed by a slim body that just 19.3mm thick (Dimension is 96 x 56.5 x 19.3 mm and weighs 125g).
New VG-160 camera features Intelligent Auto (iAuto) mode (with 29 built-in scene), Shadow Adjustment Technology, AF Tracking, and Face Detection functions.
Like SZ-12 camera, the Olympus VG-160 provides Magic Art Filters for adding special effects to photos without connect to any computer. It is capable to 720p HD video recording and also one-touch HD video button.
The Olympus VG-160 is equipped with a SD/SDHC/SDXC card slot and a 3-inch LCD display.
