Onda, well-known Chinese low-cost tablet maker, has rolled out its new powerful Android tablet, the Onda V972. It is one of the first tablets to come with new quad-core Allwinner quad-core CPU. Like iPad, the Onda V972 tablet has a 9.7-inch capacitive touchscreen IPS display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. Moreover, new device has a PowerVR SGX544MP2 GPU that capable to 3D graphics, HD video and high pixel screen.
The new V972 tablet boasts an Allwinner A31 quad ARM Cortex-A7 cores chips paired with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and runs Google Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. Comes with an aluminum case and weighs about 1.4 pounds, this gadget provides microSD card support, a 2MP front and a 5MP rear-facing cameras.
In term of connectivity, there is Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, USB 3.0 port, 3G support (using external dongle), and 3.5mm headphone jack. Its 8000mAh Li-Poly battery is enabling up to 10 hours of battery life on a single charge.
Dimensions of Onda V972 are 242 x 187.5 x 9.8mm and weighs 649 grams. It should be available for price tag $239.90.
