Optima OP5-E MID based on Maemo

Optima prepare to release interesting mobile internet device (MID), Optima OP5-E. It may not be the first device from the Nokia, which is based on the Maemo software platform.

Optima OP5-E MID is equipped with 4.3-inch touch screen with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. Optima OP5-E MID has a Chinese interface and running Maemo 0.9 Linux. Apparently, this is part of a larger project China operator, Telecom, which now began to push mobile Linux-platform.

In Optima OP5-E MID runs on ARM-based processor from Marvell, also have built-in wireless modules, 3G and Wi-Fi. There are 4GB of internal memory, slot for microSD memory card. Optima OP5-E MID will be available for about $500.
