Orange has announced the new contactless-enabled version of Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone in France. New Orange’s Galaxy S2 is support for NFC (Near Field Communication) technology.

Reportedly, Orange is become the first European operator offer a SIM-based NFC Android smartphone. It has the specifications mapped out by the French mobile contactless association (AFSCM). This NFC handset is used the SIM card to guarantee the security of contactless mobile services.

Running on Android 2.3 OS, the Samsung Galaxy S II NFC-equipped smartphone is sports a 1.2GHz dual-core processor. The Samsung Galaxy S II has also a 4.27-inch touchscreen Super AMOLED Plus display, a rear-facing 8MP camera with full HD video recording, and so on.
