Origin Data Locker, 1TB external drive with hardware encryption

Origin Storage announced the completion of its line of external hard drives, Data Locker with two new models. The main feature of new Origin Data Locker has increased capacity. In one of them, this figure rises to 750GB, while the second model and can do store up to 1TB of data.
Like existing models of Origin Data Locker with a capacity of 320GB and 500GB, the new external hard drives are equipped with the AES hardware encryption of recorded data. In addition, there is a LCD touch screen that allows user to enter a numeric password length from 6 to 18 characters, and the function of destroying the recorded information in the case of attempts to tamper device.
All solutions in the line of Origin Data Locker are a 2.5-inch SATA HDD, placed in a secure enclosure. It is connecting to a computer using a USB interface, it is going through the unit’s power. In addition, these external hard drives are compatible with both Windows and Mac OS. The cost of Origin Data Locker external hard drives with a capacity of 750GB and 1TB is $490 and $650 respectively. It also has priced at 500GB drive for $390 and the 320GB version for $294.
