OWC (Other World Computing) has released new hard disk drives up to 750 GB with different kinds of connections, Mercury On-The-Go series external hard drive. These OWC Mercury On-The-Go series can be equipped with a triple compound (FireWire 800/400 and USB 2.0), double (FireWire 400 and USB 2.0) and just USB 2.0.

OWC Mercury On-The-Go 750 GB SATA drives have operate at the speed of 5200 rpm and a speed of 100 MB/s, 8MB cache memory, Options with less 5400 rpm and 7200 rpm. Its shell is not containing their coolers; power is supplied on the bus or an additional AC adapter. In FireWire models has used in Oxford chipset, but USB 2.0 with Jmicron.

OWC Mercury On-The-Go 750GB External Hard Drive is compatible with Mac (Snow Leopard) and Windows PC.
