Other World Computing (OWC) has added its external hard drive range with four new models of OWC Mercury On-The-Go Pro family.

The 2.5-inch portable HDD is encased in a transparent body. The new OWC Mercury On-The-Go Pro portable HDD is comes with USB 2.0 model, USB 3.0 model, FireWire 800/400 USB 2.0 model, and FireWire 400 USB 2.0 model ($134.99, $149.99, $179.99 and $149.99 respectively).

OWC Mercury On-The-Go Pro has features a 7,200rpm spindle speed, MTBF of 1.2 million hours, 16MB buffer cache, and 750MB of capacity.

As noted, OWC Mercury On-The-Go Pro external HDD has also 1TB version but has 5400rpm spindle speed.

Size of OWC Mercury On-The-Go Pro HDD is 88.9 x 139.7 x 25.4 mm.
