Packard Bell imax mini nettop, enjoying digital content

Packard Bell introduced iMax mini nettop, designed to use the Internet, to communicate in social networks, simple games, and play digital content. In addition, imax mini is positioned as a perfect complement to your TV.

This subtle and compact nettop can be attached to the rear of the monitor, it is equipped with VESA attachments, or set the table for direct connection to a TV. Its controller can be used as a gaming or multimedia control panel and wireless mouse. imax mini nettop from Packard Bell comes preloaded with a choice of Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition or Microsoft Windows Vista operating system.

Packard Bell iMax mini (Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition OS) is equipped with Intel Atom processor and NVIDIA ION LE chipset and represents an effective point of access to the Internet, in addition, it is equipped with memory up to 2 GB RAM, 160 GB hard disk drive, and 4-in-1 card reader. It also is equipped with 6 USB ports, one HDMI connector, Wi-Fi and LAN, and supports Microsoft Direct X9. Standard equipment includes a mini-keyboard and optical mouse.

Packard Bell iMax mini (Microsoft Windows Vista Premium OS) can be used as a supplement to the full HD TV or as a home multimedia entertainment center. These models are equipped with an Intel Atom processor, NVIDIA ION graphics card, support Microsoft Direct X10, and represent a full HD decoder with HDMI connection function and 7.1-channel sound. It is also equipped with 2GB RAM, up to 250 GB HDD, 4-in-1 memory card reader, and six USB ports. Among connectivity is Wi-Fi function and LAN ports. Standard equipment includes a mini-keyboard and a wireless mouse for simple computer games.

The games bundles for imax mini is SEGA Sonic Heroes and SEGA Crazy Taxi 3. Packard Bell imax mini with Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition will be available in European outlets from July starting at the estimated price of 199€. The Packard Bell imax mini with Windows Vista will be available in European outlets from June starting at the estimated price of 249€.
