Palm Pixi webOS phone and officially
Palm presented its second Smartphone based webOS, Pixi. We already wrote about it from unofficial sources, the model was known under the code name Eos. The Palm Pixi is to be the slimmest Smartphone in the history of the company: its thickness is less than 11 mm. The device is made in candybar with touch screen and QWERTY keyboard. It is designed for networks of CDMA, in the US; Palm Pixi will be sold exclusively at the Sprint operator. On the issue of European version so far has not been announced.
Features of Palm Pixi is fairly average, the benefits can be noted quite a large amount of internal memory (8GB) and a few sensors, and the shortcomings is lack of support for Wi-Fi and memory card, at least in the specification are not mentioned. The phone supports a wide range of messaging services, email accounts, social networks and so on, all these features for more convenient access consolidated into a single interface, Palm Synergy.
The company also planned a limited edition of Palm Pixi Artist Series with drawings on the body, rather, on removable storage panels. And finally, the smartphone supports Touchstone accessories. Palm Pixi will go on sale closer to Christmas season sales, its cost has not yet announced.
