Panasonic plans to launch an OLED TV on the market in a specified time ranging from 18 to 24 months. The company was working on the life of this kind of plasma TV with a ratio of 50,000 hours (more than the current 20,000) and the first version was supposed to be a 37-inch model, which will be 1 inch wide and will be developed with Toshiba.
The increase in the lifetime of OLED panels was developed with the help of engineers from Pioneer and uses a metal membrane that allows light and helps to move more efficiently.
Obviously the price was not specified in the device. The good news is that soon as we start to see these TVs in a few houses.
