Panasonic DMC-FX40: Feature Face Recognition
Panasonic is launching in time and also introduced the new DMC-FX40, a camera to take photographs with a range of 25mm lens and a 5x optical zoom equivalent of 25 to 15mm on a 35mm camera with film.
Details: 12.1Mpx with a technology called Extra Optical Zoom to extend its 9.8x zoom. It has a 2.5 inch LCD screen, and a face recognition system, called Venus Engine V, which allows you to “remember” the faces photographed earlier. This will allow that when one side is recorded many times the camera will record it and you can prioritize and focus the brightness that you want.

Pricing and availability: The DMC-FX40 goes on sale in April and will cost about $ 299.
