Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS3 3D Rugged Camera
Together with Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS10 and DMC-ZS8 compact digital cameras, Panasonic has also officially introduced another camera, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS3 (FT3 in Europe). The new digital camera is designed for active users, which is made in a rugged waterproof case (up to depths of 12m), a drop of up to 2m shockproof, freezeproof down to -10 degree Celsius, and also dustproof.
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS3 is predecessor the Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS2, which has only up to 10m of waterproofing.
Lumix DMC-TS3 rugged compact camera is equipped with 12.1MP CCD sensor, a 28mm wide-angle LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens (28-128 mm in 35mm format) with a folded optics design, 4.6x optical zoom, and supports video recording with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (full-HD AVCHD) and high speed continuous shooting at 3.7 fps (at full resolution).
In specs of Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS3 camera is GPS, altimeter, barometer and compass, more powerful image stabilization in Active Mode with boosts POWER OIS, iA Mode, and new Panasonic 3D Photo mode that produces a realistic 3D photo (taking 20 consecutive photos)
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS3 camera has a 2.7-inch display, SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot, MicroHDMI memory card slot. Dimensions of Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS3 are 104 x 64 x 27 mm and weight about 200 grams (with battery and memory card).
Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS3 rugged camera should be available in March 2011, no word on pricing at moment.
