Panasonic Toughbook H1 Field Fully-Rugged Tablet
Panasonic today announced their latest rugged tablet, called Panasonic Toughbook H1 Field. Panasonic is claimed the industry’s most rugged handheld tablet PC. This rugged has a handle for easy carrying and a hand strap on its backside for a better grip. Panasonic Toughbook H1 Field is a fully-rugged tablet including MIL-STD-810G certified (6 foot drop), IP65 certified sealed all-weather design, and wide operating temperature range (-20C ~ 60C or -4F ~ 140F).
The Panasonic Toughbook H1 Field has features a 10.4-inch dual-touch screen with resolution of 1024×768 pixel and a sunlight-viewable 500 nit brightness, and two battery packs that enabling up to 6 hours of use and hot-swappable batteries support.
New Panasonic Toughbook H1 Field rugged tablet is powered by a 1.86 GHz Intel Atom Z540 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 64GB reinforced solid state drive (SSD), and a GMA 500 integrated graphics. Panasonic Toughbook H1 Field tablet is equipped with WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, Global positioning system (GPS) receiver, 2D barcode reader (also 1D capable), 2MP auto-focus camera with dual LED lights, RFID reader, and optional WWAN/Gobi2000 mobile broadband (EV-DO and HSPA).
It offers OS choices, including Windows 7 and XP Tablet. Dimensions of Panasonic Toughbook H1 Field are 10.4×10.6×1.3-2.3 inches and weight 3.4 lbs. Panasonic Toughbook H1 Field has a magnesium alloy enclosure with polycarbonate, which is provides protection from drops.
Panasonic Toughbook H1 Field will be available next month for starts at $3,379.
