Patriot Convoy Series 2.5-inch SDD/HDD Storage Enclosures
Patriot Memory is known to most computer users as a manufacturer of high quality memory, NAND flash, and computer technologies. But now the company decided to speak in somewhat unusual for a role, announced their Convoy Series Dual 3.5″ HDD/SSD enclosures.
In Convoy series includes two models of shells; Convoy and Convoy XL. Convoy XL version is a complete RAID solution interfaces with the USB and eSATA. The device contains Dual 2.5″ drive bays holds two HDDs and/or SSDs and it is installed in a standard 3.5-inch form factor bay. In addition, there is a built-in RAID controller can be configured to work in RAID 0 mode (increased productivity), RAID 1 (data backup) or JBOD (two disks combined into one large drive). There is also a function of OTB (One-Touch-Backup), allowing to easily create a backup copy of important information.
In turn, the option Convoy is no RAID like functionality, and those users who just want to use two 2.5-inch SATA SSD/HDDs with 3.5-inch inner casing.
