Patriot Memory is announced its high-performance solid state drives (SSD) called Patriot Memory Inferno SF-1200.

New SSDs are based on the MLC NAND flash memory and delivers sequential read speed of up to 285 MB/s and write speed of up to 275MB/s. Patriot Inferno SF-1200 uses Serial ATA II interface, a MTBF of 1500000 hours, and 2.5-inch form factor. It is suitable for desktop, workstations, and notebooks.

Patriot Memory Inferno SF-1200 SSD support TRIM feature in Windows 7 OS, which allow extending their service life and optimizing performance. In addition, the Inferno SF-1200 SSDs are implemented SandForce DuraClas that enhanced stable performance and increase reliability.

The Patriot Inferno SF-1200 SSDs are comes with capacities of 100GB and 200GB. There is no word on pricing.
