Patriot Memory, well-known storage and RAM supplier has introduced its new 2-bay NAS (network attached storage) device, called Valkyrie. It is designed for SOHO and prosumer market. The Patriot Valkyrie NAS has dimensions of 7×7.5×10.5 inches. It is supports two 3.5-inch SATA hard drives and up to 4TB of total capacities (RAID 0 or 1 configuration).
Patriot Valkyrie NAS server is boasts a 500 MHz embedded processor and 128MB of RAM. It allows a remote access via any internet-connected PC. Patriot Valkyrie Dual Bay NAS server also capable as an iTunes server, a FTP server, and stream content to game console. It is supports UPnP and DNLA, which is possible multimedia streaming. Patriot Valkyrie 2-bay NAS server is available for pre-order with priced at $165.
