Phantom Miro eX professional high-speed cameras from Vision Research

Vision Research introduced a new line of high speed digital cameras, Phantom Miro eX, which includes three models: Miro eX1, Miro eX2 and Miro eX4.

All new items are equipped with a unique CMOS sensor, which allows to make from 500 to 1,200 images per second with a resolution of 640×480 (eX1 and eX2) and 800×600 (eX4) pixel. These high speed digital cameras are useful for professionals when shooting fast moving objects (for example, in automotive race, sport). These Cameras allows setting the minimum shutter speed of 1/500,000 second.

Sensor sensitivity when shooting color frames at 1,200 ISO, but when shooting monochrome images up to 4,800 ISO. All functions of the Phantom Miro eX camera are fully accessible through the 3.5-inch touchscreen LCD screen. The devices can be programmed to automatically start when you are shooting a moving object in a certain area of the frame.

The camera models has available in versions with 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB of internal memory, which can be expanded with the CompactFlash memory card. Phantom Miro eX1 Camera already available in the retail and sale price of $10,000 in two days rental equipment cost of $750.
