Philips Announces Net TV series for 8000 and 9000
Philips returns to surprise us with respect to innovation, design and home concerns. The company has announced a new range of LCD TV, which hulling two main features:
On the one hand, the company has developed a new image format to watch movies so that it appears you’re sitting in the chair of the cinema. This new invention leads to one thing: Widescreen 21:9 (movie lovers can get an idea of what it means to see this image format in their homes)
On the other hand, if I’m doing here is of particular interest, the new models in the range of TV Philips 8000 and 9000, included the so-called “NET TV SYSTEM“.
However, the NET TV it does is bringing Internet content to home TV and show them with a very elegant. The interface allows the display of websites like YouTube, TomTom, eBay, MeteoGroup (time), MyAlbum, Netlog, Email, etc. Indeed we can also access any page of text and graphics using it themselves, the remote TV. This is a challenge for companies, because for this type of action is somewhat uncomfortable typing strings and URL. Another thing is that I read texts in a TV from a distance can be somewhat uncomfortable, but in the end, the Net TV technology is primarily developed for digital media online.
Net TV will require a wired connection to the 8000 series, although the 9000 series will have integrated Wi-Fi. Be available in April, The price is unknown at this time.
