Philips Econova eco-friendly TV with solar-powered remote

Philips has recently released a new green friendly, the Philips Econova (42PFL6805). The green TV has been awarded the European Green EV 2010-2011 by the European Imaging & Sound Association (EISA).

The Philips Econova eco-friendly TV has a 42-inch LED-backlit display, a recycled aluminum panel, e-manual, and a solar-powered remote control. In addition, the Philips Econova TV is comes with PVC and BRF-free, as well as not packed in any polystyrene buffers and plastic bags that making 100 percent recyclable.

Philips Econova Green TV with solar-powered remote is uses 40W of power consumption in eco-mode, Zero Power Switch to reduce consumption 0 Watt in turn off, and latest LED technology which is reduce energy consumption by up to 60 percent. The Philips Econova TV sports resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD), four HDMI and USB connectors.

There is no word on pricing but will be available in near feature.
