Argos UK retailer is start selling Philips Android multimedia player, known as the Philips GoGear Connect. It is first appeared on the Internet last winter.

The main feature of Philips GoGear Connect PMP is running Android 2.1 OS with support Google services (including Android Market).

New Philips GoGear Connect player can pack a camera, an accelerometer, speaker, microphone, GPS, a slot for microSD, Bluetooth, FM tuner, and a 3.2-inch touchscreen display. The Philips GoGear Connect portable media player supports playback of DivX and Xvid video, as well as music in MP3, WMA, AAC and OGG. Its rechargeable battery is enabling up to 25 hours music playback, up to 5 hours video playback.

Size of Philips GoGear Connect is 113 x 59 x 13 mm. Cost of 8GB Philips GoGear Connect is £199.99, while 16GB model has £200.
