With so much progress in the world of gadget and digital televisions in the lounge, the universal remote and technology are becoming much more sense than last year.

Along with its new range of audio and video equipment, Philips has introduced a new remote Prestigo STR9320 name. Its most prominent point is that the screen is touch-type (touchscreen) and color.

The size of a mobile phone is 2.8 inches, and we can control up to 20 different brands. The remaining elements of the remote control are complementary, and are looking for simplicity.

Unlike the Logitech teams like this, no need to configure your computer to the remote. Inside the helm of Philips is a database of 300,000 can select. This has the advantage that we have an independent team but on the contrary we find the classical configuration and rough compared to the web interface of the Logitech Harmony. However, Philips says it can configured with menus in which we will not have to enter any code cold, and everything is a matter of going on using the touch screen.

The use that we can give a command of this type is already a classic: how to configure it so that when we watch a DVD just select DVD See for example the system of responsible and just turn on the necessary equipment: TV, DVD system and sound if any.

In the Philips Prestigo STR9320 universal remote can put icons of the channels to form a sort of visual our favorites. Then we can forget the lists impersonal. For this command comes with preloaded icons 500 channels, but you can download via the web with only about 10,000 more to connect the remote computer via the USB port.

Obviously today, the remote comes with rechargeable batteries and its corresponding base.
