Philips V808 Android Phone hits China market
Philips has introduced its new mobile phone in China market, the Philips V808. The first information about the Philips V808 is appeared on the Internet in end of July 2009. Later, it was reported that the Philips V808 is not an ordinary of Google Android platform but OPhone (Open Mobile System), software platform with integrated support services of the Chinese mobile operator, China Mobile. It is possible that new Philips V808 will precisely this telecommunications company, but judging from picture, Philips V808 is the most usual Smartphone and it is Android phone.
The Philips V808 is equipped with 3.2-inch touchscreen TFT display with resolution of 320×480 pixels, 3.2-megapixel camera, GPS receiver, 30MB of internal memory, a slot for a microSD with up to 8GB, miniUSB port, and a 1000 mAh battery capacity. Philips V808 Android Phone is supports GSM/GPRS 900/1800 MHz.
