Photofast G-Monster Promise SSD: up to 1000 MB/s with PCIe

More recently, it is a few SSD with an interface connecting PCI-Express. These devices represent an expansion card inserted in the slots are PCIe, and very high-speed solutions with high speed read and write.

Photofast not so long ago, has already submitted its first SSD with the interface PCI-Express as the G-Monster. The speed of reading and writing data are 750MB/s and 700 MB/s, respectively. However Photofast hopes to beat that record with the new G-Monster Promise, the speed of read and write data which is reportedly reaches 1000 MB/sec.

G-Monster Promise SSD is available in versions with a capacity of 128 GB, 256 GB, 512 GB and 1 TB. It is based on MLC NAND chips and the controller is equipped with 256 MB of memory ECC DDR2, used by the PCI-Express x8 to connect with the main unit. The average time of G-Monster Promise of 2.5 million hours, while the value of its ranges from $ 1616 for a model with 128 GB of memory and $4534 for 1TB version. Its sales in Japan will begin this month.
