The Australian-based Pioneer Computers has started accepting orders for its latest notebook, the DreamBook Power W27-0B. It is based on AMD Brazos platform and has a 17.3-inch display with resolution of 1600 x 900 or 1920 x 1080 pixels.

The base configuration, Pioneer Computers DreamBook Power W27-0B is powered by 1.6GHz AMD dual-core processor E-350 paired with Radeon HD 6310 graphics, and optional, 1GHz C-50 CPU.

Pioneer Computers DreamBook Power W27-0B notebook packs up to 8GB of RAM, up to 1TB hard drive (or 256GB SSD), DVD or Blu-ray drive, 9-in-1 card reader, 1.3-megapixel webcam, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi.

The DreamBook Power W27-0B laptop is equipped with three USB 2.0 ports, D-Sub and HDMI connectors, and a 6-cell Smart Lithium-Ion battery allowing about 5-6 hours of use. Dimensions of Pioneer Computers DreamBook Power W27-0B are 413 x 270 x 14-41 mm and weight 2.9 kg.
