Plantronics is pleased to announce the availability of IP40, the new communication system dedicated to the Contact Center. The only solution currently available on the market able to perform all functions of an IP-phone and easily with great quality. With IP40 indeed becomes possible to eliminate the traditional desktop phones, as well as the costly upgrades needed to integrate the phones with PCs.

This will greatly simplify the technology envelope of the individual positions of the Contact Center, for a savings which is around €100 for each individual operator. Connecting directly to Ethernet port, IP40 can instantly receive and make VOIP calls, ensuring that sound quality is absolutely unsurpassed by traditional soft-phone installed, working in similar environments.

Compatible with most software and applications used in the Contact Center, IP40 confirms once again the experience of Plantronics in the design and development of audio devices, which provide perfect reliability and intelligibility of the human voice, and also an ergonomic design to a highly competitive price. Plantronics IP40 integrates perfectly into the strategy for the promotion of the “Working Smarter” Plantronics now distinctive and can be used either at home or the office.

Plantronics IP40 has compatible with all Plantronics headset, IP40 also is a plug & play with Power over Ethernet, and control buttons quite intuitive. The Plantronics IP40 is available from June and will cost €185  (incl. VAT).
