Plustek has recently introduced their portable scanner, called MobileOffice D428. It is a truly portable scanner that is designed for individuals who are always traveling, especially to professionals or for small and medium businesses.

Plustek MobileOffice D428 portable scanner is equipped with 600dpi resolution, Color CIS image sensor, and it is able to scan a page in 2.2 seconds (or 28 pages per minute). Plustek MobileOffice D428 can also be useful to scan from A4/legal size documents to 1.2mm thickness plastic cards such as driver license cards, embossed credit cards, ID cards or any cards. It is allows save document in PCX, BMP, TIFF, PJEG, PNG, MS Excel, MS Word, Word Pro, WordPerfect format, or directly to email.

Dimensions of Plustek MobileOffice D428 portable scanner are 3.7×2.4×11.9 inch and weight is about 2lb. Plustek MobileOffice D428 will be sold at a price of $350 (about 237 EUR) and it will officially present in the upcoming CES 2010.
